Theatre Royal Brighton hosts a regular programme of stand-up comedy throughout the year, featuring nationally touring comedians on their UK tours, established names trying out new material, and one-night-only specials from television favourites. The venue’s intimate Georgian auditorium suits stand-up particularly well — close enough to feel part of the room, large enough to attract major touring acts. Shows typically run as single evening performances rather than week-long runs, so dates sell quickly for the most in-demand comedians.
