Improv

Theatre Royal Brighton occasionally hosts improvised comedy shows, featuring touring improv companies, comedians performing unscripted material and one-off specials built around audience suggestions. Improv shows differ from stand-up in that no two performances are ever the same — the content emerges live on stage, often shaped by what the audience calls out at the start of the evening. The venue’s intimate Georgian auditorium suits this format well, giving performers a clear connection with the room.
